Sinsinawa and Racine Associates Gather for Retreat

May 15-17, 2026, Dominican Associates of Racine and Sinsinawa held a retreat at Windhover on the campus of the Racine Dominicans. Three of Associates of Sinsinawa – Elly Pick, Karen Anderson, and Mary Goonan – joined the 15 or more Racine Associates for prayer, meals, and community-building. By the end of the retreat on Sunday morning, we all considered ourselves simply “Dominican Associates.” Our theme, which was developed by a planning committee of two Sinsinawa Associates and two Racine Associates. was “We Are Each Other’s Light.” Recognizing that this was the weekend the Church celebrated the Feast of the Ascension, throughout our time together there was a general feeling that we were in the Upper Room with Jesus, knew our spark, and were readied to share the Good News.
