2024 DSC Elected Leaders’ Meeting 

Preachers for Times Such as These

“If we are silent in times such as these, relief and deliverance for your people will arise from another source, but you, my sister, and the Dominican charism may not make it through the chaos.  Could it be? Perhaps we (you) have become Dominican Preachers for times such as these.” Esther 4:14.                                  

A Dominican contemporary adaptation

When: October 8, 2024, 9:00 am (ET) to October 11, 2024, 8pm (ET), 

              Departures October 12, 2024.                        

Where:  Embassy Suites Columbus Airport

               2886 Airport Drive, Columbus, OH 43219

               (5 minutes from the Dominican Sisters of Peace Motherhouse).

 If any group needs to have a pre-meeting, please contact Xiomara: sisters@domlife.org by August 9th.

 We have listened to your request to have more time to engage in deep conversation and to contemplate what is emerging among us. The questions: What will it take to open ourselves to a new and deeper communion that is calling us to co-create resulting in a flourishing Dominican Life and Mission? Our call: To be Preachers for Times Such as These.

 The Annual Meeting will begin at 9:00 am (ET) Tuesday October 8, 2024, and end at 8pm (ET), Friday, October 11th.Departures are on Saturday, October 12, 2024.    

Meeting Space: Our Annual Meeting will take place at the Hotel Conference Room.

 Lodging and Meals: We have a room block reserved at Embassy Suites by Hilton Columbus Airport for October 7 through October 12, 2024. Booking your room will be simple. You will follow the link we will send you with theregistration. Rooms include full complimentary breakfast and evening reception that could serve as a light dinner. Lunch will be provided with the registration.

 The registration will be sent to you in the next few weeks.
