November 15, 1930—November 22, 2025 Just days after her 95th birthday, Sr. Susannah Malarkey (formerly Sr. M. Augustine), a Dominican Sister of San Rafael of 74 years, died peacefully on November 22, 2025, surrounded by her Dominican Sisters. Curious, contemplative, and deeply spiritual, Sr. Susannah had a remarkable ability to think differently—and to inspire others to do the same.

Sr. Rita Carr, OP, a native of Wakonda, South Dakota, died on November 12, 2025, at Sansbury Care Center, St. Catharine, Kentucky. Sister Rita was born on November 16, 1931.

Dominican Sister of Peace Patricius Henderson, OP (103), a native of Omaha, Nebraska, died on November 23, 2025, at Sansbury Care Center in St. Catharine, Kentucky.

Sr. Ramona was born on April 28, 1929, in Lima, Ohio, Ramona was the fifth of seven children in a loving family.

Sister Maggie Hopkins, OP, died Dec. 16, 2025, at her home in Madison, Wis.

Sister Valerie Da Silva, OP (S. Gerard Marie), was welcomed home by God on November 5, 2025. She was 89 years old and had devoted 70 years to religious life.

Sister Marie Aimee Koonmen, OP, was welcomed home by God on November 6, 2025. She was 82 years old and had devoted 64 years to religious life.

Barbara Kolesar, OP, (85), born in Bergholz, OH, died on Tuesday, November 11 at Mohun Health Care Center, Columbus, OH. Barbara was born in 1940 to Mary Skolosh and John Kolesar. She entered the community in 1958, made first profession in 1960, and took her final vows in 1965.

Sister Jeanne Marie Stickling, formerly known as Sister Louis Anthony, died on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Dominican Life Center in Adrian. She was 88 years of age and in the 70th year of her religious profession in the Adrian Dominican Congregation.

Sister Theresa Anne Gallagher, OP, was welcomed home by God on November 22, 2025. She was 72 years old and had devoted 50 years to religious life.

Our dear Sister ​Rosemary Huber, M.M. died​ on November ​22​, 2025 at the Maryknoll Sisters Center, NY, USA.​

A devoted member of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt, New York, for 79 years, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at the age of 98.

William Patrick “Pat” Fogarty, age 73, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Pat was born on January 29, 1952, in Omaha, Nebraska, son of the late William G. and Erma (nee: Connor) Fogarty.

Our dear Sister Jane Heckathorn, M.M. died​ on November 10​, 2025 at the Maryknoll Sisters Center, NY, USA.​ She was born on August 2, 1936 in Watertown, SD, USA.

Sister Joan Leo Kehn, baptized Barbara Kehn, died on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Dominican Life Center in Adrian, Michigan. She was 88 years of age and in the 69th year of her religious profession in the Adrian Dominican Congregation.
