Missione
The Futuring Leadership Team is a core group of the Dominican Sisters Conference which fosters and coordinates communication, collaboration, and visioning for the future of our shared Dominican mission, especially among the sisters under seventy, in order to reimagine and rekindle the quality and witness of vowed Dominican life and the Holy Preaching now and into the future.

22 Dominican Sisters from 7 DSC congregations have come together at the Dominican Sisters of Peace motherhouse in St. Catharine, Kentucky for a week which began on July 9th for a rare and grace-filled encounter.

Dalle riunioni di coorte di novembre sono emerse molte discussioni e contenuti importanti. La condivisione in piccoli gruppi è stata fruttuosa su questioni importanti riguardanti il futuro della nostra vita e missione domenicana. Aggiornamento di ottobre della Coorte Futura
Nel nostro prossimo incontro di coorte di novembre, mercoledì 12 novembre (6-8 PM ET) e sabato 15 novembre (4-6 PM ET), ci concentreremo sul discorso chiave di Suor Christina Atienza “Predicare la verità e la speranza in un tempo di transizione”, utilizzando il processo sinodale delle Conversazioni nello Spirito. Il nostro tempo insieme inizierà con una preghiera di gratitudine, seguita dalla raccolta delle nostre benedizioni - dall'Encuentro e oltre. Ci auguriamo una conversazione intensa!
Futuring Cohort August Update
Cohort participants were very energized by learning more about global Dominican and religious life at the August Under 70 Cohort Zooms (August 9 and 20) from panels made up of those who attended the DSIC (Dominican Sisters International Confederation) and Hope 2025, a gathering of religious women under 65 from around the world, organized by the Leadership Collaborative. We would like to share some highlights with you.

Futuring Cohort June Update
The Futuring Leadership Team (FLT) meets monthly to discuss matters and make plans on behalf of the cohort. Presently we are inviting an Under 70 Cohort sister to serve on the team beginning this summer. You may nominate yourself or talk to someone else who you think would be a great addition to our Team. Please submit names of nominees to Lisa Kane by June 30th. Looking ahead, another Team member will be needed next summer. This planning helps to ensure we have smooth transitions in our cohort leadership.

In addition to establishing cohort goals for the next three years, the FLT will expand its membership to six at this time. This addition will help share the workload, expand the range of voices in FLT discussions, and ease the succession planning for the Team....
